Branches of Science

The branches of Science also known as Scientific fields or Scientific disciplines are well illustrative on the definition of Science and the areas it covers. The three main subdivisions are Physical Sciences, Earth Sciences and Life Sciences.
Physical Sciences can be defined as the study of non living matter. Sciences included on this division are Chemistry and Physics. Chemistry deals with the study of matter and all its important details like the structure, physical and chemical properties, and composition. Some subcategories of Chemistry are Nuclear Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, BioChemistry and Inorganic Chemistry. Physics is a natural Science that deals with the study of force and energy.
Earth Sciences are Sciences that deal with the study of earth and some of its subjects include Paleontology, Geology, Seismology, Meteorology and Geomorphology.
Life Sciences are all about the study of living organisms and some subjects under this division focus on the study of internal functions, structures of cells and tissues. Subcategories under Life Sciences are Biology, Botany and Zoology, Ecology, and Genetics.

When I was very young, possibly four or five, my mother bought me a personalized book in which little Ross and his baby brother become conductors on a train.
